Briefly, there are two types of double side printings; one is with mirrored images on both sides, the other is with completely different images on both sides.
Our MT-Starjet 77802L is designed to make the first type printing, its cost is less than the other type when it is printing at large size on backlit film. Moreover, besides backlit film, it can also be widely used for indoor, outdoor with or without light printings.
For the second type printer, it is with completely different images at both sides. Actually, any printer can make this printing with an experienced operator. But it is difficult to eliminate the mis-alignment of this type printing.
MT-Starjet 77802L is equipped with two DX7 print heads, CMYK 4 color, 8 cartridages, Maximum 720*1440dpi, 15ml per sqm ink consumption (for one complete double side printing).
Concerning the maximum print width is 3.2m, we totally redesigned the media handle system, Take up system: it is designed with switches to control clockwise or anti-clockwise. It is also designed with switches to control speed and torque for different kinds of medias.
The feeding system is designed to be identical as take-up system, with two totally same main poles, which can interchange. This makes it much easier to flip over the medias after one side printings. When it finish one side printings, you only need to loosen the take up main pole with the picture roll on it and reinstall it onto the feeding system. Then, you can directly start the other side printing.
We apply multiple camera eyes to enable different length of medias’ double sides printing. The cameras are used for optical real time data tracing. When print on reverse side, they will trace each pass’ data of the front side printing and send to software to make intelligent adjustments. In this way, every pass on the reverse side will be print exactly where the front side image located. This is like two experts making all the alignment at any time you need.
Our MT-Starjet 77802L is capable of printing at 26sqms/h per side. Concerning the whole process, the speed might be 12sqm for double sides image printing, which is totally considerable to get a MT-starjet 7702L to make the front printing and dedicate this printer to the reverse printing, by using lower pass on the reverse side. It’s maximum speed on can be 52.1sqm/h, with optical real time tracing camera eyes. With intelligent automatic calibration and reasonable price of MT-Starjet 77802L, we have no doubt that this machine has created an entirely new market!
